Tom Biller has worked in aviation maintenance for over 34 years. He joined the US Air Force in 1986 and began his career as an avionics systems specialist. He also taught professional military education for frontline supervisors and mid-level managers.
He served as a DOD contractor for the Air Force working in the intelligence community fielding airborne communications systems. Tom is currently the primary avionics instructor for manned and unmanned aircraft across Northland Community and Technical College’s aviation programs.
He holds numerous industry recognized certifications along with three Associate degrees and a Bachelor’s in Education. He serves as project manager for DroneTECH STEM outreach program through the National Science Foundation.
